Board Members
Lori Eberly Born in NYC, Lori is now an Oregonian at heart.
She graduated from Portland State University with her MSW in 2000 and has worked for national and local non-profit organizations.
She is currently a hospice social worker and finds that, like theatre, her work is about witnessing story and searching for
connectedness in the world. Either in the audience or at the bedside, Lori finds amazing opportunities to live both vicariously
and more fully.
Mary Swartz Mary retired in July 2007 after 27 years in administrative roles at Virginia Commonwealth University and moved to
Portland with her husband to be near their children and grandchildren. She also worked several years at New York University
Medical Center, and has served in various volunteer roles including assisting in a Harlem Head Start program, mentoring in
Richmond, Virginia schools, and serving on the Board of Ten Thousand Villages, a fairtrade store. She enjoys spending
time with her grandchildren, volunteering at OMSI, and exploring the beautiful Northwest.
